Free Software and Open Source Foundation for  Africa

The Apple User Group Ghana

Apple users in Ghana have decided to come together, and the group offer members the opportunity to network with other apple users. So if you are an apple fan / user, check the group out . You can get help and also offer help to others.

Ghana Developers’ Community

After the MakerFaireAfrica conference in Ghana three months ago (in August 2009), there was a gathering of developers from Accra and at the end of the day, there was an agreement to establish a Developers’ Community to bring together all programmers and developers in Ghana under a single umbrella, thanks to Erik Hersman. This finally led to the Ghana Developers’ Community . Currently the group has a total of 103 members and has had two ‘Face to Face Meetings since it was established in August 2009.

Java Accra Community (JAccra)

There is a group of Java Developers right here in Ghana. The group was formed almost a year ago. From time to time they come together to share latest java developments. At these meetings, members get to present new things they’ve discovered to the rest of the house (pretty cool huh!! ) :)
